Tim was raised in the Church of the Brethren faith and came to understand his need for a savior as a teenager. His faith was challenged while attending college at Fresno State and he came to embrace his relationship with Jesus on a deeper level. At Fresno State, Tim competed in the decathlon and earned a Master’s in Physical Therapy. He currently works on a per diem basis in the home health setting and helps his father farm almonds and walnuts in the Waterford area.
Tim continued to grow in his faith through the ministry of the church, mentors, and independent study. He credits the ministry of Ravi Zacharias as a vital resource in answering many of his questions and giving a rational defense of the Christian faith. Yet, in his pursuit of living out his faith and finding the abundant life Jesus promised, he has identified greatly with John Eldredge’s premise that men must get their heart’s back to live a vibrant life for the Kingdom of God.
Tim has been married to the love of his life Kelly for 16 years. They have three boys ages 27, 24 and 12. Tim enjoys playing golf, basketball, chess and mountain biking.
