Spiritual Warfare Advanced Training

In our last boot camp, Wild at Heart, we learned that we were created in the image of God as men and that deep within our masculine hearts are the desires to live a life of adventure, rescue the beauty and be involved in a noble battle larger than ourselves, God’s Kingdom.

In this 3 ½ day boot camp we will be unpacking in detail, what it means to live life out of your warrior heart.  In Nehemiah 4:14 the scripture reads … “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

That sounds noble, that sounds true … but if you are like me, I’m asking myself, how do I actually apply this to my Life?

Really, what does that look like in my marriage? How do I interact with my wife? What are some practical examples? How has that truth played out in the lives of other men? What do I do with the volatile emotions? Hormones? How did God create her as a woman? What does it mean and how do I become the Spiritual leader of my home?

And with our children… Do you want to give them a better start in Life than you had? Do you want them to become mature and responsible adults? And as adults, do you want a loving and health relationship with them and your grandchildren?  How do I fight for my children’s hearts? How does that truth pay out in our homes?

In John 10:10 Jesus offers us as his followers an Abundant Life or literally translated “Life above the common”, a marriage above the common, family relationships above the common and a Life of influence in His Kingdom above the common. This Abundant Life is attainable but it will not just randomly fall on your lap, you will have to learn how to fight for it.

Most men didn’t have a good, strong, Godly example of masculinity growing up and thus, out of a sense of self-reliance and independence, tend to “do life” from a very fatherless stand point. You know … the trial and error method…go for it and hope it works out and that it doesn’t crash and burn. How is that working out for you?

As the scripture says in Ps 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another”. It is essential that we as men learn, train and get equip for this battle from the direct influence of other men, Christian brothers, mentors and Father Figures that have been there, done that. They themselves have fought thru hardship and suffering and emerged victorious in Christ.

If you are hungry for more in your Life and want this training… see you at boot camp!!!
